Tet' holiday

Tet Vietnam is traditinal holiday. What makes tet is the most moment that all vienamese expect for? That is the cheerful atmostphere on days close to tet. My family is very busy and exciting for tet. Preparation for the opening of a year bring us a special feeling. As usual, we have to make the list for everything, but three day near tet is the most interesting gift.
On 28th,time seem to be quick and hurrying, my mother buys many fresh food to store in fridge such as: cabbages, carrots, meat, fruits, seasons… and many decorating ribbons, ureal flowers, apricot tree spots…we are also excited about tet, we run happily when my mom comes home from tet market to help her bring goods. We decorate our house by colorful ribbons, we stick unreal flowers into branches that my father had cut it before. We have already cleaned the floor and painted the wall. That was not enough, my sister and I have tried to washed all curtains, wraps. The house seem to be brighter and more beautiful,we are happy when join our trying.
The day after, there are still many things to do. All members even my father sit and make some typical food. We make spring rolls, cold rolls, banhchung…banhchung requires high coporation. First we have to marinate glutinious rice,boil green beans and stir beans well. After that we wrap the mixture of glutinious rice, beans, meat, pepper, satl into green leaves. At that night, my parents prepare a big boiler to boil banh chung for 10 hours, we are ususally overninght to keep our eyes to banh chung. It was cold and windy but three of us my younger brother, sister and I warm up our hand by using fire. That is a memorable moment.
On 30th, the special moment is coming, the new year’s eve. In the morning we take off banhchung and dry them by hanging them on shelves. We relax all day and eager to every seconds. That night, we all together watch tv, for special programes. At 12pm, new year comes, we drink and give best wishes to each other. we receive lucky money from our parents. New years, all sadness was behind, we try to make good thing in new year.
We should cherish all the moment when stand by our family. Tet is the occasion to do it, try to live by all our hearts.
